One minor thing (not sure it has specifically been noted as of yet). The increase in duration for Multi-shot is not being shown in the planner (or in-game either, for that matter). When pulling the guts out of  the HGG tables with Reanimator perhaps you could check that this is the same value as the old game (+1 second duration per level I believe) and add it in to the planner. Old game it started at 4 seconds and increased to a max of 13 seconds.

The display string is what's used, which is different from the actual effects (like Sword of Authority). Multishot and Escape are two examples where the display string is...unhelpful.

Basically the effects would could be re-parsed to ignore the display string and use the effects list instead when possible, but the description might be a bit different. It could sometimes display more effects than what's normally shown, but it's better than nothing at all or "need translation."

Perhaps I'll do some testing on this during some SP jaunts to verify the duration of MS at various skill levels. Would that help or no?

The numbers are there, it's just that the effect display doesn't take them into account because it's blank. Testing isn't really going to help since we still need to manually generate descriptions, but I should be able to pull out the numbers and post them here later to save you the work. :P (Escape might be using a formula because the raw numbers don't seem right)

Multishot should have an effect of something like "Lasts for [string1] seconds" where [string1] is replaced by the level-dependent skill value. Since the effect is blank, there's no [string1] to replace. We could generate descriptions based on the actual effects, rather than relying on the built-in description to find and replace any variables.
Right now, the planner is exactly replicating what the game displays, for better or worse.

Okey dokey. I'll just wait until the data is extracted and go on the assumption that the effect is similar to what the old planner/game reported. Thanks Firv.

The skill planner has been updated!

New changes:
  • increased bonus skills to 20 - thanks Wolfilein
  • fixed crusader wraith description (effects were switched) - thanks Wolfilein
  • fixed mismatched summoner icons - thanks Geministar
  • all the strike and grenade skills for marksman and engineers have been completed.
  • fixed the URL bug that caused the URL to be messed up for some browsers.
  • zoom in/out feature to scale the planner. only works properly in chrome atm... to be updated in the future.

Awesome thanks for the hard work by keeping the planner up to date and working correctly.  Most everyone that I've seen uses/links directly from the skill planner.
Strength and Honor,

Nice Update  ;D ;D

Found a little bug. Expertise-Skill "Surgical-Precision" dont cost points. I can up it to +4 without perk-points beeing take from the counter. All other per-skills are working correct in the skillplaner.

The "anchor" skill has the problem i mentioned above with the crit perk.
The skill can be skilled to max 10/10 without using skillpoints.
This is possible as long as 1 skillpoint is left to spent.
I have testet all guardian skills. "Anchor" is the onyl one with the problem.
Because ther are no skillpoints "used" for the skill, the url wont show them in the link.

I have teste the skillplaner and the problem occours on the following skills/perks:
Perk: "Surgical Precision"
Guardian: Anchor
Blademaster: Aura of Vengeance
Marksman: EMP Blast
Engineer: Phase Grande
Summoner: Zombie Sacrafice
Evoker: Afterlife

It seems that each class has 1 skill that isnt working correct in the skillplaner. All "defectiv-skills" are on the last (right tab) and there pretty much to the right and/or on the bottom. I assume they are the last in their code-line. Same for the Perk... ok it straight in the middel but probably on the same "coding-position" as the mentioned skills.
