From St Paul's to Hell
Killing Despair
Killing Rash
Killing Flaw
Killing Discord
Killing Bedlam
Killing Sydonai

Sydonai killed.

Skill Tree for the Elite Nightmare Engineer, Level 55, SP 1.2.1.

A pair Chrome Bolters was used for mobs who like to cozy up to the Engineer e.g. Zombie Summoners + their minions. Mod it so that Toxic Nova, Spectral Nova, etc. may be emitted upon contact with the enemies. Also mod them with "Shield Penetration/Shield Overload".

Steelhook Launcher was used for killing enemies from a distance. Can fire fast but is relatively weaker as compared to the Chrome Bolters or Thermo Cannon. Mod it so that Toxic Nova, Spectral Nova, etc. may be emitted upon contact with the enemies. Also mod them with "Shield Penetration/Shield Overload". Great for handling Bedlam.

Thermo Cannon really hurts but is relatively slower as compared to the Steelhook Launcher. Not suitable for mobs (it's suicidal) but strong against few enemies that don't go after you but your Drone.

Specially reserved for Sydonai in the Elite Nightmare mode. Mod it with "Shield Penetration/Shield Overload" + Range Increase. This is to take down Sydonai's Shield from a distance before real damage is inflicted. Keep your distance and scram when Sydonai jumps after you or shoots you with its purple bolts.

Maximize the Drone's health by equipping armor which increases its health. Collect and keep them. The lower the level of the armor, the better.  Item enhancement like "Construct Drone" does likewise. I have not tried it with "Armor Retrofit" yet. It will probably work. Then equip the Engineer with the Armor that you really want (Over here, I used those with +AA enhancements) and then start the mayhem.

The drone has more than 6000 Health!!!

The drone is your best friend (i.e. meat shield). So, give it a nice set of Armor (additional Shield is a great bonus) + Master Engineer at Level 10. The drone is also equipped with a long range run.

The Hunter's forte is killing from a distance. When that is not possible, the Hunter might want to try some of these cheap tricks:

Kill very safely from below with a pair of Chrome Bolters. Does not seem to work with the double-handed long range guns.

Killing monsters who are hiding behind boxes from a distance. Over here, the Gutgores can't attack you, but you can.

It's always good to outnumber a single strong enemy. Whilst three minions are doing the dirty work, the Engineer just stand safely from a distance and kill.

Like Engineer, like Drone. But then, he's always the Engineer's best friend.
