To refresh memories:Install game then Hellgate 1.2 patch,create character,play a bit in Russel Square,exit game.Install MP 2.0 patch then click on the multiplayer button.You should see a new screen.Exit game.Install Revival launcher then 1.5b launcher.Install Revival 1.5b2 or Naga mod with 1.5b launcher.Other mods should be installed with Revival launcher.Hope this helps. ;)

Of what kind of textures are you speaking? Most of the textures in HGG which were from the original game have a lower resolution than those of Hellgate: London.

Yeahm, I got the Nagahaku mod 3.0, I've been playing it for a while.Yeah, the character textures are crap but don't annoy anymore once you've fully equipped your character.
Specifically, I'm talking about character textures. Such an awesome and nice game, and female characters (and males, though I don't play males at all - I'd rather watch a female ass for 10 hours every saturday :D ) look like someone vomited their textures on paper and scanned them in. I've ran through Stonehenge a few times, and I can say, as far as a content zone goes, it's not all that much - it's actually crap to begin with. Maybe if it introduced new items, those are worth something, but other than that, you just run through various zones to kill more Shulgoth clone minibosses, collect trophies, then kill Moloch using said trophies.Stonehenge introduced now items but they're included in Revival and Nagahaku.
One of stonehenges main features was the wild and the density of typerooms. That meaning there are caves literally filled with one enemy type (necro, demon, beast, etc)You should try Nagahaku in case you haven't. ;)
The wild also introduced a number of new enemies, a vast open map with multiple possible hellrifts, cave systems etc and a (mini)boss that back in the day required vast tactics in order to kill it, which would in turn drop the highly sought after functional pets (pets that heal, break crates, damage enemies, etc)
It wasnt a whole lot of innovative new thought but i liked the layout of stonehenge and the attempt at creating what i considered speedrun arenas and thats what i miss a lot.
Then came abyss and things went ok for a while, then flagship exploded.

Here is a screenshot, as you can see the textures on the shield and weapon are fine, on the character its decent same thing for the zombies, but for the rest of the world its pretty bad, I have everything maxed out btw.

The revival launcher is the one giving me a warning. But the thing is when I play using the old launcher and 1.2.1 the textures are actually really good, I can see a big difference between the two.Actually you don't need to use any of the launchers to play the game. The launcher is only necessary to apply the mods. After you've done that you can launch Hellgate via hellgate_sp_dx10_x64.exe (or the exe you want to use). But Malachor might be able to help you regarding the warning.
The first screenshot is the old one using revival 1.5b2 with the new launcher, the second screenshot is with version 1.2.1 using the old launcher.It's difficult to see a difference on these low resolution screenshots, especially when there are different kind of textures. Could you upload full resolution screenshots of same textures/tilesets on something like imgur so we can see a direct comparison?

Hi. I installed this mod with an already created character which is Lvl 6. I assumed I would loose it, or loose the items, but everything seems to be there. I was wondering if I can still play this character without any issues? Also I read in the Mod notes to not get too attached to your character since it's a Beta and things might change making it incompatible. Thing is, I don't have the time nor the will to play hours and hours on a character to then loose it. Could you give me some advices on what to do? Should I keep playing 1.2 Vanilla, play Revival 1.2.1 and stick with it, or go on with 1.5b2 without too much worries? And again, did I just fuck up my Lvl. 6 Vanilla character savegame by loading it in the 1.5b2 mod(Since saves are done automatically)? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.Your character is fine. Generally you can use pretty much every character with every mod. Only a few mods make changes which don't support pre-existing characters or items. But in this case you're totally fine.

Exactly. When I pick up for example a weapon or armor from my character and put it in inventory, won't work. It also disappear, I only see the closed hand icon. I only can put it back into my hands. Also if I go into the stash, pick up the weapon from my hands and try to directly swap with another, now it works. Put can't put anything from grid to grid. Only things I can move in the grids is the small items. And again, the items don't appear once picked up as they should.Is it just the old items which you've found before installing 1.5? It might be possible that those items won't work anymore but all new found/bought ones should work fine. In that case you won't have to restart.
I get a closed hand with nothing. Also the hand stay closed permanently once I pick up any item. Tried reloading the game, restarting the game. Same thing. I guess I'll have to re-install the game, ditch that character, and figure out what I should do next with a fresh start. That is, Play with Vanilla 1.2, Revival 1.2.1 (Since it isn't Beta) or try 1.5b2 with a new character.
To your knowledge, is 1.2.1 less buggy? I would prefer less features, but a more stable/reliable mod experience. Does the 1.2.1 also include uniques and extras from the 2.0 Multilayer Patch, or is it only 1.5b2? Thanks again for trying to help.The only bug of 1.5 I know of is the one where you can't progress in the main quest in Charing Cross Station. If you happen to have that bug you can just go back to 1.5b1, complete the quest and install 1.5b2 again. I've played 1.5b2 for the longest time without any issues before switching to Nagahaku (not because of bugs). I don't know about 1.2.1 because I never played it. But from reading a lot of the forums posts I think 1.5 is about as stable as 1.2.1.

If you encounter that main quest bug, which doesn't seem to occur 100% of the time, you just install 1.5b1 without reverting anything, complete the quest chain and install 1.5b2 without reverting. Always use the new Revival 1.5 launcher unless a specific mod needs the old launcher (like Lost London).
So just install 1.5b1 on top of 1.5b2. Then 1.5b2 on top of 1.5b1 after Quest is completed. No Revert. Got it! Thank you so much for your time. Is there a way to thumb up or give you Karma? The revert function is only necessary if you want to make a clean install of a standalone mod which doesn't revert automatically.

Hello peeps. I have encountered main quest bug with Lucious Aldin. I installed 1.5b1 over 1.5b2 like mentioned a few posts above but when i click "single player game" on main menu, game crashes and this error pops up...
I had these kind of crashes when I installed Revival 1.5 after reverting previous installed mods. I was able to fix the issue by completely reinstalling Hellgate and the mod file I wanted to use.
Anyway, even creating a separate movement speed mod, changing the movement speed would still require reinstallation of the movement speed mod, so the only thing that would change is the reinstallation time.

And regarding the quest rewards, are you using the expanded storage mod? If so are you putting the rewards in the relevant page? weapons for weapons etc.

If memory serves me (I'm Playing Nagahaku HG at the moment) it's not so much that they have to be put into the right spot... but they will automatically go there and you won't see them if you're on a different "window".
That gave me a few scares before I realised.
Example:
Window is on armour and you select or pick up a gun - drop it into inventory.
You won't see it at all, think it's lost... until you switch to the weapons window.
But, as far as memory goes, you don't have to be on the weapons window in order to pick up a gun.

I had the same problem so I went to the hellgate revival launcher then Utilities>Modifications>Revert. It uninstalled the mod and I was able to progress. I reinstalled the mod and it worked except I don't have the Transmogrifying Cube in my inventory anymore:(

So i just completed the millennium battle quest and afterward I tried talking to Lucious Aldin in Charing Cross Station to get the quest "The Wall", but when I click to accept the quest nothing happens and I don't get the quest. Now I'm stuck and cant continue.
Also gamble tokens stopped working. I have no idea why. The cube still creates other things.

Tried the version posted on 20.03, the game doesn't crash anymore (5 hours, nothing, previously no more than 40 minutes w/o CTD), but Moonblade and other similar weapons still have no in-game models. Is it required to start a new character to see the effect of the fix?
SP files: *.idx file present, *.dat file absent.You have the *.idx, but not the *.dat? That makes no sense.Do you have the multiplayer patch installed? There should be 4 mp_hellgate_etc files, 2 *.dat, and 2 *.idx.
Moonblade files: no Moonblade folder in …\units\item\weapons.Since you don't have the *.dat this would be why you don't have this.
For the record, I did revert to vanilla version and did a clean install of the latest fix.

Other than that I love the mod and hope you keep updating it.Don't you worry about that. I spend more time modding the game than playing it. I have 1 character who has completed nightmare, another who has at least started it, and all of the rest of them are test characters. Yes, while this may sound like I'm bragging, I have the maximum amount of characters you can have, even though I don't know how many there are; never worried about counting them.

Update: Upper Thames, seeing lv. 52 regular mobs while character is lv. 40. Please pay attention to this problem – it breaks the game.That's strange for a couple of reasons. First I had no idea the monster level was changed, nothing in the install.xml file mentions it. And second, Upper Thames monsterLevelNightmare entry is 47, so I don't know why monsters would be 52nd.

1 question: I have a ... let's call it bug. When I move items in my inventory the image dissapears and the mouse is the top left inventory-field of the item that is currently grabbed. They did a great job on a lot of stuff. Did more with this game then was originally thought possible. The unhell utilitie and the ones that worked on that added a lot of possibilities.

That's strange, i play Revival 1.2 now, and i noticed, that enemies tend to strongly outlevel me in middle of Nigtmare. For example, my character's level has 41 level, and i'm forced to face 50-lvl enemies now. and i do ALL side quests, and kill ALL monsters in locations. It just isnt enough - enemies grow up too repidly.
Sure, my Evoker is OP class, and can deal with them, but it takes too much time to kill them.
Hello. I used search with key-words "heal", "healing" and "priest" on SP modifications subforum. Moloch's priests do not heal him, they stay afk even if shooted. I don't know if anyone still working on this Revival mod. Info about this bug was found in Kikina's unofficial Rev 1.7 mod release notes. Thanks for attention.

Sounds like the mod didn't install correctly. Did you run the mp exe after installing the mp patch?
2. New [ligh-bluish] type of items seems to often have a properity of ''-XX% skill mana cost"... Which actually increases said cost for me by that value, making those pretty useless.
That item quality is called double-edged, which means it grants one mythic affix, and a negative affix(so a penalty). Unfortunately, we weren't able to get those affixes to display properly, so it does looks a bit strange.

Some time ago I've tried to install a Morowind modpack - yet I've encountered many similar issues. Turned out it was just a language version thing. After you sir have confirmed that I indeed did everything in the right order I've decided to reinstall in english and now all is a-ok.
