i just wish we had a epic weapon and armor set shop too! its so hard to collect all cool looking armor and weapons they are SO rare to drop and it only happens in ending of the game
man the speed is really bodering me, my templar with heavy armor and shield run like ninja which is SO unrealistic for my eyes,
is there any way that i can change the speed back to normal for my own taste?
also it would be great if there was somekind of debug code for max level, i would like to test vendors and see what they got in max level for each class
Wondered if you would be saying farewell Seferoth.
There is much in LL5 that looks like a finished product.
Merchant drops, mob drops, even locker item spawns look like they might be right.
Mixed enemies looks like the way of the future.
I may need to try various options in order to understand the scaling and how viable drones etc are.
It looks like a template for any future modding/MP2 import attempts, if anyone is brave enough that is.
I hope you and LL5 will be around for whatever future lies ahead.

Once again im amazed at how well this mod is made, its so fun to play but it has a few drawbacks.
Ive encountered that when i first start as a Hunter i get some of the overpowered guns right at the start of holborn station. I went into Holborn access shafts killed like 200 zombies and got 2 vulcan bolters. Now i can one hit kill most stuff under level 6, which is fun but it makes it a bit easy. I also gain xp much quicker than in the vanilla game which makes it even easier.
I was wondering about somethings which i also would like to see maybe in future releases. More spawns in Ancient Blood. They seem a bit empty. A auto dismantler of some sorts (pickup or buyable in shop). And most of all some Set Items or a equivalent armor type.
I want to know if its OK if i do a Let's Play series of the mod for my Youtube Channel?

It is becouse i had to find the suitable enemy count for basic size maps and the new Larger Maps. New experience system does make your character quite powerful in the beginning, but the difficulty of Lost London V should catch up eventually, also this is the reason why there is Hard Mode addon in the addons pack. Also, the enemy count does increase in later part of the game where Dynamic Spawns feature truly starts to show its potential. Still, i thank you for the feedback, im always open for suggestions and constructive critizism. If there is another Addon Pack update in the future i will add spawn control options in the addons. I also see what can i do about those set items, dismantler, etc.

I was also wondering if in future release if you could make it so that you dont have to choose between bigger london or bigger ancient blood i want both to be big.

Just reinstalled Hellgate London after a very long break (years) and discovered this site. Before I quit playing I remember messing around with hellgate Revival however at the time I didn't know of Lost London. What is the main difference between the two? Does lost london have more game content than revival 1.5? When Looking at the download size of lost london v its almost 3mb however revival is little over 9mb. Am I downloading the wrong thing or are both of those mods really that small?

That's unfortunately an issue I haven't sorted out yet (might have to edit the links manually). It's likely related to the domain change - try replacing "hellgateaus.info" in the link with "hellgateaus.info".

I am really excited to try out Lost London, but I had a question before I get too invested. Almost all my playtime in HG:L was Hardcore elite and I'm wondering if there is a way to enable Elite mode without having to beat the game again. I don't mind crushing difficulty...
(The forum posts around here seem to point to no hardcore mode, but they are old posts... maybe I missed something?)
EDIT: Ok, I have figured out how to make an Elite character. I just had to make a dummy character before it unlocked.
I'm now having an issue where a couple of items have "Missing String index '-1' 1" on them. Any clue on why that might be happening? It's very rare to see it, but it happens.
It was a grenade pistol type weapon for one of them (Unfortunately, I sold it). My friend has also found one, but he doesn't remember what item type it was. I also found a spectral striker with Summon Ember, but I don't think that is a skill in Lost London V.
Oh, one last thing. The bosses appear VERY large. This is causing them to massively clip. Abaddon is especially troublesome in this regard and I am not sure his hit box is quite lining up.
I just intstalled Lost london- I have a character that I leveled in Revival that I opened in LL - A lot of her items were missing (but I think that's due to the lack of mythics etc) but the other odd thing s that I can only equip weapons in slot F1.
Any ideas?
Should i unequip all wepon slots in revival before using the character in LL?
Also is there any way to transfer money/items between chracters in LL?

I found 1 bug but not sure if it was reported. In LLV, the portals you go thru doesn't work. You can go in, but you can't go out. Might want to check them and see what's going on.
Hey Sef,the one in Green Park you go in but cannot go out.As for the others I have no problems with them so far.
Do not remember which addons I put in LL5 but all portals that spawn in Green Park Station(not the death ones) have the same problem.Hope this helps. :o
Welp, I know I installed this mod pack a few versions ago, and I thought it'd be easy to install this latest version, but When I open the installer and select the mod pack I am receiving an error stating 'The modification Lost London V does not contain a install.xml file.' Any help would be appreciated , and I'm sorry if i royally goofed up >.<
Old installer doesn't work properly with my version of HG:L SP 1.2 MP 2.0. All files were downloaded from here. revival 1.5b1.mod.zip and it's latest installer works just perfect and everything running fine.
Use the old installer to install Lost London. Download it from link below. Its the install.zip file.

You can add " -buildserver" without the quotes and the space in the front to one or both shortcuts to force them to keep the saves in the same folder as that ones respective install. Instead of "My Documents".

What i meant is that i would only like them to respawn when i close the game and reopen it.
Since now they respawn while you are in the level :(

ok thanks i got it installed but i guess i got a few bugs to work out because now i cant pickup weapons. or shall i say i cant equip them. the moment i pick them up they go invisible?With Lost London installed or just the standard game?
To clear-up the confusion:install the game then the 1.2 patch(hellgate) then the revival launcher(not the 1.5b) then Lost London thru the revival launcher.The 1.5b launcher is for the 1.5b and Naga mods.Hope this helps. :)I didn't know that. Thanks for clearing things up. :)
On a side note:Hellzone missions for LL5 have problems:NPCs with same quests and The World Gun quest where you kill 100 Dunder Liches only have 3.I have not gone further because I uninstalled that mod.Anybody else have the same problems or others with it.Please Seferoth check this out and see if you could solve these problems.Thank you. :-\
The one made on the 29/5/2011: Hellzone missions.mod(version 1.0).2 others were made for Lost London V.1.0 and V.3 and they work .Hope this clears up my question. :o

Decided to give this mod a try, and I'm liking it a lot. Especially when I got to bloomsbury. Though I have a question - would it be possible, if the questgiver requests killing 200 screechers, to spawn 220 or so of them? It took me at least half an hour to find the final one inside an unenterable building. After I'd already created a new game, and found out that in this mod that resets your quest progress.
Will changing amount of monsters to kill from 200 to 500 cause increasing locations size? Or just crowds will be bigger?

I've reinstall my HGL since january and i've never modded it before.
I was one of those players who have knowned HGL by Flagship Studios with official servers.
During a long time i've play on us servers on t3fun.
T3 servers where closed recently and i was very sad to see that.
Your mod is the first i try. I've never try the revival and the nagahaku but i think i'll try them soon.
Has i can see, you've done a very important job with lost london v.
For me, the speed and kill quest at 200 are not very good ideas but i can understand why you have made this choice. With the new level cap and dual tree classes, it a good method for making the game not soo easy.
Today i try a new hellgate. It's not to my eyes a total conversion but it's a very impressive mod. For me it's a mod as good as the clan quest mod of vampire the mascarade bloodline who is a great reference for this game.
I'll give you a feedback after more playing hours if you want but for the moment, i just want to say you a great thanks for support HGL. It was a great game and you have save the hellgate legend with this mod.
I'm not worry for the difficulty latter.

I've downloaded and installed your mod. Well, killing two hundred blood zombies ir sure an impressive feat, but I shudder at the mere thought of playing as a templar. Can I reduce those numbers a little somehow? Or, as it just occurred to me, those hordes appear with mod addon only (I installed it too and chose the default number)?

I dont think there will be any problems if you have MP patch installed. LL5 dont use MP patch files at all.

Is there a file over stasch inventory? Im thinking of a way to trade items from my hunter to a catabalist
I haven't played HGL in a while but are Ancient Blood levels supposed to be so big? I spent ages trying to finish the level off but it was huge, my game ended up crashing (which was a first for me) when I was about two path ways away from clearing it so I lost all of my progress on the level. I'd killed Moloch too but I think I'm going to avoid them in the future because it was becoming exceptionally tedious and boring because it felt neverending and it was the same environment throughout. It wasn't the challenge of the enemies which made it hard, but instead the tedium of the level with no feeling of progress.All outdoor areas and Ancient Blood levels are huge in Lost London, that is one of the features of this mod.
Also, it's a shame there isn't an addon which removes some weapon restrictions. I'd love to be able to use other rifles (Cabalist) outside the Hunter ones.
Thank you for this wonderful mod. The sheer size of locations and quantity of monsters are so impressive. In-game streets feel like real size streets now, not some backyard playgrounds. 8)

do weapons/focus items have any effect on strikes, grenades, or evoker skills? i noticed strikes were not changed by radius weapons...only skill i.e. "shock and awe". regardless due to ur awesome skill retrainer vendor item i was quickly able to correct that issue.

To my knowledge, +radius , and critical chance/damage doesn't affect strikes and grenades. I don't know about evoker skills.
also a question about lvl penalty. a current character is 42 hunter in a 53 area and mobs are next to unkillable. seems as though xp is slower.
Yes, you will need to farm earlier maps to increase your level more easily.
lvl 50 cabalist: one thing i learned is that warper, swarm, and flameshards is epic. warpers spectral strike is crazy good. boss melter.
whats the deal with achievements not giving action points? 1kk pal achievement didnt get the AP.
There aren't any action points, they're called achievement points. And they can't be used for anything, so don't worry about them.
also the event items stopped dropping. apples and oatmeal. (only way to support 100k upgrades) That's because the event has ended.
Hello guys, i just install lost london and play it, it is a great mod and i really love it. However, i faced some problem with Hunter skill in the engineer tab. It seem that drone's gun retrofit and other that suppose to increase drone's stat has no effect (didn't increase stat of drone at all). Has any one faced this problem?

We'll see how it goes....might have to just avoid them if editing the addon doesn't help me live a little longer in there LOL. Edit: Also since Lost London V 1.4 the New Installer Version has more addon options than old installer version.

In the meantime, my main question is how does the Engi Drone work in this? I'm a huge fan of the Aggressive Mode skill, but that doesn't seem to be in this, has the Drone's base AI been improved at all?
I'm loving Lost London thus far. There's a lot of awesome there.Tempest Rifles do not keep their effectiviness for too long. The increased rate of fire will be their saving grace at end game.
The tempest rifle feels weird, though. It feels like a weapon beta testers would use to rush through the game effortlessly that was left in accidentally, or that was changed to test something and never got changed back. It's just ridiculously powerful with the higher firing rate, especially with the larger sizes of bosses. Running down corridors with it blasting away feels like pushing a giant electric plow in front of me that annihilates everything it hits.
There's another topic here about changing the firing rate, so I'm going to do that for my own game, but I figured I'd mention it here as well.
bro!!! i played HGL years ago and now in 2019 i find this awesome mod!! tnx a lot seferot, but i have a question.....its posible the item trading between characters? o the option for shared stash?Item trading was possible with the use of of Reanimator program or at least one of the versions of Reanimator. Shared stash unfortunately is not possible. I hope you enjoy Lost London, took me ages to make it. :D
Never played Hellgate: London, only played this mod when it came out years ago... and now I need to play it again! Can't imagine the game without it.Thank you for your kind words. It really warms my heart to see people still enjoying my work. I did create it for 5 years. It nearly drove me mad at times. Worth it though. :D
