Many thanks indeed...  glad you like it. :)

Just a quick added option to the revival logo great shield... I got carried away with the flames...:oops:

[attachment=0:8nj3r7y1]Flames.jpg[/attachment:8nj3r7y1]

It's added as an option to the RevivalShield mod as it seemed daft to put it up as just a single lonely mod, so if you have already downloaded it you will need to download it again...sorry.

I'm planning (hoping... we will see what actually happens) to improve the current shields, by finishing the backs and adding detail to the grips as well as continuing with the rest.
Nostalgia... Isn't what it used to be

Not sure of the "net-etiquette" of necrothreading my own thread (so apologies if wrong) , but after a couple more moves I think I'm staying still for a bit and half tempted to get back and finally sort out the backs and also include the "low" textures so they don't vanish at distance. Maybe the weapon textures as well.

Basically... is there any interest in me adding these or not really with HG:G coming.

Tokyo is on the doorstop of a triple meldown at Fukushima, a city of 16 million souls may have to be evacuated and abandoned. Much of Asia will either eat radioactive rice and fish after the next crop comes in or they will starve.
After 30 years of spending more than it makes in tax revenue, the US Federal Government is finally facing the reality that it has spent 30 years going down a wrong road and it now has to get back to reality. Individually most US States are insolvent also with massive debt. The Federal Government is supposed to do something about its debt ceiling before the 20th.
The Eurozone is in the same boat with Greece bordering on default and potentially leading to the default of Spain and the breakup of the EU and the possible destruction of the banking system globally (a rerun of the Great Depression).

So the first world is an inch away from a depression that may beggar the imagination.

In that context, forget HGG and forget the internet gaming industry if global austerity measures kick in. Make your plans on what is and what will remain if the SHTF.

If handbite bites the dust, along with commercial gameware generally, then there will be no owner of the copyright to obstruct porting into Unreal or whatever.

The only problem with the work you do is that someone else has ownership rights on the base item. That might change quite quickly. I would be happier if you were working on community owned items in an Unreal environment but Rome was not built in a day nor did its empire collapse in a day.

Its a good question that you ask but we live in "interesting" times.

The SP game badly needs weapons and armor that balance the game at high level and that is where works of art belong. You also need some new bosses to drop them, I dont know if Gnip Ping qualifies as a penultimate boss but the Broker who gives the Gnip Ping quest might make a stand in for drops/rewards that are needed to balance endgame.

Seferoth and Malachor are two names that come to mind as ones who might have the ability and interest to make it happen. Malachor has the background with items and has expressed an interest in doing his own mod, maybe his arm can be twisted.

(The glowing blue "windows" on shields seem out of place to me. If they are meant to suggest "I am a futuristic powered up stun shield" then maybe a power glow is appropriate, otherwise I would lose the blue glow bits. Now if we had an unreal engine there might be power shields that take mods and glow with the elemental effect color(s)/thorns.)
