Updates August 9th thru September 15th

August/September Update Notes
  • Sorry for a LACK of updates
    • As Maeyan/Sam pointed out last week, there hasn't been much to report.
    • Hanbitsoft/T3 has been rather quiet on the Korean server as well, unfortunately.
    • You can probably expect to see the events going on with the Global servers to continue for the foreseeable future. These are very similar to the events being conducted on the Korean & Japanese servers.
    • The Japanese seem to be on the verge of new content in the oncoming months, due to their own weapon design contest. There is no telling if this content will be exclusive to Japan.
  • More Server Yo-Yo Maintenance
    • - The Global servers were reset on a seemingly sporadic basis for maintenance.
    • - Most recently this was done today (9/15/11)
      • - No noticable changes were made to the game.
  • Cheat Shop Changes
    • - Various pets were put up for sale and taken down
      • (I.E. Moloch, Sydonai, Shulgoth and Sekworm/Shock Dynamo)

I speak to a T3Fun marketing associate and apparently they'll "be busy in the coming weeks ahead" ... more tease.  :P

Thanks for the update Chtulhu. No one can blame you for the lack of updates. I'm forcing myself to keep the website fresh ... but TBH I am over it ... that is, in terms of running monthly events and staying 'on the edge' because as you said .. all we get a micro managed events from T3 and premium item offerings.

However, I still enjoy the game and continue to play .. I look forward to Base Defence, Endless Dungeon & the Tokyo content. I really hope we do get those BD & ED with Tokyo .....

I dont blame you. Relax, play, work on other projects. You have done a ton of work, the website is fresh enough.  ;D

I'd be more excited if they would fix the blasted Infinite Loading Screens. The game is pretty much unplayable for me now. :(


Oh, I think someone jumped the gun here on the tokyo news.

That's weird. I only get them couple of times a week. Are you by any chance using the 2Gb fix from the forums? Some folks in chat said they had lot more infinite loads with the fix enabled.

I emailed a marketing associate from T3 and that is in fact their planned launch date. However, there are no official endorsement from T3Fun because its likely something will go wrong and they will not meet their ETA.

That "fix" didn't make any difference. I have been getting them every 15-30 minutes of play time. If I am lucky, it will go for about an hour before it happens.

I haven't tried someone's suggestion to play the game exclusively in windowed mode. Unfortunately, I don't know when I will take the time to try that out.

Another obvious one TGC (which you have probably tried, but what the heck) is to set the priority of HGG when it's running to High. Probably coincidental, but I have had few spinning circles, DC's and lags when I remember to do that... and apparently there is a batch program out there that will allow you to set this up to automatically be set at run-time.

That's an old trick; it was even prescribed during the days of Flagship.

I've tried it with the Resurrection/Global client... it really doesn't do all that much to remedy the problem, IMO.
