Must be faith that I decided to check here what is going on, I don't do it often anymore. I've tried go back to HGG couple times but it never works because of TERA. TERA get's updates and stuff happens, so I always go back to TERA. I can't say that I enjoy TERA more, but it is at least evolving. C9 was fun too.

I still think HGL is a genius game. It has all the things I want in game, it's classes are awesome, I like the instancing etc. etc. It needs company who would remake it while respecting what it was, but I'm not holding my breath while waiting. I can't understand why this jewel of a game was so unlucky with everything, and still is.

I think it was 2008 when I found this young man who had a big dream and he called himself Mayean...Bless you Sam, I hope everything is going well for you and you area happy. And thank you! And thanks to everyone else too. I'm glad this awesome material does not disappear and just found a new home.

Wow, amazing responses and support. Thank you so much guys. Inspiring.

Many thanks to NiteHawk for carrying the gauntlet. The truth is I would have never taken the website down and if there was no-one else to take over, I would have worked something out. ;) I'm happy NiteHawk is able to do this though because the blood will continue to flow.

I would still like to do something with Hellgate. My plan is to complete the poker game project and look at the Hellgate source and collaborate with others in setting up a community server. Even the poker game is on the back burner because I'm working full-time and studying part-time, and balancing married life. But my wife and I talk about it and soon I will able able to finish off the game (which is over 70% done!!) by only working part-time and using the rest of my time for projects. Anyhow, this is where I am at and once I'm creating again I should resurface.

I too share your love for this amazing hack and slasher and as you said, there is really nothing quite like it. Lets keep this portal into Hellgate open. :)

Also, many thanks for offering to help as well Killious.I'm grateful that we still have dedicated members like you around.

I'm glad that I found this great community when I did. Just point me in the right direction and tell me what needs to be done (within my abilities of course haha) and I'll do it!

I am a latecomer to this community (less then a year since I discovered HG), but I am pleased and gratified that this wonderful place will continue to soldier on.  I have no recent hosting experience, nor do I have dime one to spare to throw at the project, however my moral support is unwavering.

There's still nothing out there that compares to Hellgate (well, maybe City of Heroes, but it's dead), and very few communities with as much tenacity as this one.  To say "Keep up the good work!" sounds trite, but in this case it's true.  =)
