Difficulty

Difficulty is an optional setting that increases game play difficulty by increasing enemy damage, damage absorption, elemental defenses and attack strengths.

There are three difficulty modes:

Normal
Baseline difficulty
Nightmare
25% increased monster health and Palladium drops
25% better chance of champion monsters and passageways
Champion monsters have 1 additional affix
Monsters give 30% more experience points
Hell
50% increased monster health and Palladium drops
50% better chance of champion monsters and passageways
Champion monsters have 2 additional affixes
Monsters give 50% more experience points
