Saw on the "news"  Hanbit Soft making a "prequel"?

Wow,those guys are harsh with the original Hellgate.Though I do find it amusing that views on HG vary from "ahead of its time" all the way to "turd".

That aside,there have been mentions of the VR version before (see this thread).Though it's very interesting that they actually released some info on it other than that,well,it would be VR.
Apparently they're going to discard the whole hack&slash/RPG/FPS formula of HG:L and turn the whole thing into another FPS ("another",given their recent mobile FPS game).Not quite a fan of the IP's fate at this point,myself,but I suppose that's apparent by now.

IIRC, they were going the prequil route with Hellgate 2, so this isn't a surprise.  Still, its disheartening to see such a great ARPG reduced to nothing more than a run of the mill FPS. I'd rather just play Doom.
