Airstrike bug for MM/Enginner

Problem: When I use napalm strike, my character does the animation of throwing the marker but nothing can been seen except that 5 seconds later the airstrike will occur...

I have been looking hard all over the web regarding this. . . The only solution i came across is something with dynamic lighting which i have already turned on... Does anyone else here have any idea?

I have a similar problem with the lightning as EVO. My char does the animation of creating the cloud, the energy is being deducted - but nothing happens. Almost killed me one or twice already.

ooo? Never played as in evoker before... interesting...

I wonder if these 2 occurrences are related/tied to a single problem? But for me is, the airstrike did happen... i just couldnt see the marker marking the location of the strike itself... but it did happen

You are saying yours simply... vanish without anything happening?

FSS screwed the strikes up. sometimes you won't see the marker, sometimes you will. sometimes it will go off and sometimes .. well they won't go off.

for me, i usually don't see the markers, but the strike..
and when i see the marker it means with a 90% chance that the strike will NOT hit. or even go off. bravo, FSS

I see. . . funny, judging the widespread of this bug, i find very little information regarding this... thats why i thought maybe its just me... or the minority of us

Most of the people who complained about it was on the original Hellgate forums...or when they were online >.>
Either way reason why you do not see much on it is because we already nearly bashed our brains out complaining about it a couple of years ago ^.^

Right... *sigh* well, no harm done i guess, i revert back to a more or less of a passive MM, the only skills i will be using is Ravager, sniper, tactical, escape and beacon. Maybe multishot too...

FWIW, I had the same issue early in the game but once I started using mult-shot strikes the markers suddenly appeared.... go figure...   :?.

you know whats fun? change the loot table of basic monsters to 50x chance to drop gold.
download quest for death mod, hard.
do a quest with a 1k kill asking.
enter map, preferably a 'death X' map, since doing awsm stuff in the dark is just making it even more awsm.
multi strike.
wait.
fun.
oh, and profit too, ofc.
