Thanks for the quick response, I think I'll wait till it becomes public and try that new version. I get too many different error responses (including that cooked.tx not being there)

I am running win 7 64bit with 2 gig ram, 512m graphic card and Dual Core 1.5ghz

Some of the errors include

the data_common dire not actually being there after a install and patch to 1.2 sp

including that dir and the cooked.txt comes back with an error that includes data_commonexcel\*.txt files as not being there...and yes that extra is what is shown

This sounds like Reanimator doesn't access the correct folders when trying to load its files... Is this the first Reanimator version you're trying to install or did you use an older one before? Try using the "Tools -> Options" dialog to check wether your paths are set correctly and post the paths here so I can check wether they're the correct ones.

Installation Folder:C:GamesFlagship StudiosHellgate London

root directory: same as above

client dir: C:GamesFlagship StudiosHellgate LondonSP_x64hellgate_sp_dx9_x64.exe

I think I see a problem...well the problem...root directory, and now its not even doing much...well the only way to fix that is to uninstall and reinstall....

okay got it working, almost..am trying to add stats and skill points as well as palladium...can't seem to save it that way...so in the end it didn't work...

Just extract the files. I extracted them into a folder named Reanimator, but only to keep the root directory clean, so it's up to you if you want to do that.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Looks like you're missing the .Net Framework 3.5... Try downloading and installing it from here and everything should work.

You're right, I forgot to add this little detail in my guide so I will add it now :)

I feel like I'm missing something here. I followed all the instructions in the OP, I have the MS .NET Framework 3.5, I don't get any errors when opening Reanimator...but when I click on Trade Items under the Tools menu, absolutely nothing happens. No pop-up, no 'working' sound or signal. Nothing. Am I missing a step? Because at the moment I might as well be clicking on the grey background :-

Reanimator 1.1.1 is the version in which Trade Items does nothing.
Try version 1.1.0 beta 3b for trading items.

Hi there people!

I just tried using the trade function, but it doesn't work for me...

I do get the following stacktrace when trying to use it:

bei System.ThrowHelper.ThrowArgumentException(ExceptionResource resource)
   bei System.BitConverter.ToInt32(Byte[] value, Int32 startIndex)
   bei Revival.Common.FileTools.ByteArrayToInt32(Byte[] byteArray, Int32& offset)
   bei Hellgate.ExcelFile.ParseData(Byte[] buffer)
   bei Hellgate.ExcelFile..ctor(Byte[] buffer, String filePath, Boolean isTCv4)
   bei Hellgate.FileManager.LoadTableFiles()

And here is the Message:

Das Zielarray ist nicht lang genug, um alle Elemente in der Auflistung zu kopieren. Überprüfen Sie Arrayindex und -länge.

I don't like to look into other people's code, so any help (a little bugfix maybe? ;)) would be appreciated.

Edit: Ok, I just had a look at the post above mine... I'm going to try that.

Check the options dialog for your game paths. Looks like the savegame path got mixed up with the gaming directory...
