Can't help with that error message as it is probably related to some old code... All functions (and errors) are subjected to constant changes as we're still integrating the core functionality. Later on the TCv4 loading will either be added as optional feature, or you might not even see/need it anymore as they're loaded directly from the game files. Just bear with it for now :)

But it's good to hear that Reanimator is working and that the character loading problem is fixed know :)

They're not used, its a bug in the old Reanimator version... As far as I know we will release a new version within the next few days/weeks...
You could try to extract them, but I don't know if that'll help... when do you get this message/what are you trying to do when you get it?

the message appear when i load a character save file

the *.hg1 file in the single player save folder

Ah no wonder you're getting that message... That's pretty normal as loading a character that way is not supported by Reanimator... If you want to trade items, use "Tools-> Trade Items".

Okey so i got a problem with Reanimator, cant get it to work anymore..
I reinstalled HGL. Played abit with a new toon then i patched it to the latest patch as posted here on the forums. Then i played abit more. Then i installed the SP mod Revival and played abit more. I uninstalled the revival mod and started up Reanimator and i got that error with  exceltables.txt.cooked. I did what you wrote there, but still i cant get it to work.
I'm getting "File not found! D:GamesHGLdataexcel\ITEMQUALITY.txt.cooked"

I'm probably too slacky to search the forum, but just point me in the direction if there is any post about this.

Edit: Oh yeah , it says that for every 'cooked' file (like alot of them)

Hm, try replacing the existing itemquality file with this one
[attachment=0:1mdxwm0x]itemquality.txt.cooked.zip[/attachment:1mdxwm0x]

As for the other errors:
What Reanimator version are you using? 1.0.3 or 1.1.0?

But thats the problem, there IS no itemquality.txt.cooked. Im missing tons of 'cooked' files  :roll:

Ah ok phew... I can't really say I remember how 1.0.3 worked ^^ It's been a long time and we introduced lots of changes to the file handling. Best thing would probably be to just wait for the next Reanimator release. Another solution would be to just do a clean reinstall of everything as this helped everyone up till now...

I'll have to talk to maeyan about releasing 1.1.0 to non-founding members :) Founders get to test our releases before we release them to the broad public ^^

It's just weird that it worked like a charm before but now it wont even do 17+ tables.
Hehe founders are lucky !

There's also the possibility that one of the patches/mods didn't install/uninstall correctly which might be the reason why it doesn't work for you anymore. After installing HGL and the official 1.2 SP Patch (and BEFORE installing our patches) it's always a good idea to backup all "idx" files in your "data" folder to make sure you got replacement files in case something like this happens.

Erm... partially xD While founders are the first members to have access to the files they're also the first ones to encounter new bugs and therefore risk their characters/game installation :P
The moment a Reanimator version is released to the broad public most of the bugs and workarounds to prevent them are already known so it's a lot safer to use our tools for you xD

Well yeah partially :) And by that you guys have more to look into and code some more :)
But hey, when the final release it out. I think everyone is happy about it :D
Just something to look forward too anyway.

Stupid question maby, but how is Reanimator(future release) + Revival 2.0 coming along?

No new information on that, but I think maeyan or someone else will make an announcement about the future updates, soon. As far as I know the most important parts of our tools have been implemented, so we'll soon be at a point where we can actually start to produce/convert new content.
