Is it somehow possible to let Engineer's strikes scale with the Increased Splash Damage Radius attribute on weapons like in Hellgate Global? I found a mythic gun which adds +107% and I'd love to see the havoc that thing would cause.  8)

I don't know for sure, but in the skills table, if you look at bitmask1, you'll notice usesWeapon, useAllWeapons, plus some others. Perhaps setting them would do it.

Is it possible to use Reanimator to open the Hellgate Global database to see how Hanbitsoft achieved that?

Yes, it is possible. ...creeeeeak, and pandora's box opens a little.
You'll need to go to File->Options.
In the window that pops up, Change the Hellgate Installation Directory and the Client Path to the global paths.
Be aware that this will replace the single player Table Editor, and that there are some things that global has that london doesn't. Generally new code/scripts and the tables may have additional columns. So you still may not be able to do what you want.


Also, for everyone that reads this, I don't recommend trying to modify any excel file of global, since a) it probably won't take effect, and/or b) you will get noticed and banned. So, on that note, I won't be providing any help.

Hm, I'm able to view some tables but not items, monsters and skills. When I try it I get the following error message.

And that error is not something I understand.
Maybe it's not the version of reanimator that's the problem. Maybe it's the version of global, because I haven't played it in a year, more likely two or three, I don't remember.
Hmm, I wonder.
I'm attaching my version of the x_hellgate000 files. Try them. It's the only other thing I can think of.

Malachor, I tried it with your files but the same error appears. Seems like I have to do it by trial and error.
