i wonder where i can find them...
about how many skill/stat points a character may get when promoting a level...
i am planning to create a mod that allows you get 2 skill points per level, but i cannot find where the bonus column is.
perhaps the players.txt? but i did not find it..
Charming faces are easy to lose, while the glory of youth never back...

As far as I can tell you can't do that/the game won't allow you to do that... There is a "skillPoints" column in the "PLAYERLEVELS" table BUT the game won't use this value... I'm not even sure wether the "statPoints" column is really used or if it is just a left-over from Mythos (another game by FSS that was used to test HGL's network code and then became a game of its own).

However changing the values of the following entries works fine:
hpMax = bonus health points you gain at level up
sfxDefense = bonus sfx defense at level up
headStoneReturnCost = costs for reviving at a soulstone depending on your current level
restartHealth/Power/ShieldPercent = how much heallth/power/shield will you have when you revive at a soul stone?
skillPowerCost = defines how much more expensive a skill will become when you level up
e.g.
templar lvl 1 = 100 (= 100% = normal skill costs)
templar lvl 2 = 103 (= 103% = increases skill costs by 3%)

The only currently known way of increasing the amount of skillpoints is by modifying the quest rewards. You can award exp, palladium, statPoints and skillPoints.
