Welcome to "Unofficial Revival" patch version 3.6

"My heart stays in Hellgate."

If you like Hellgate and want to remember a bit of old times, this mod is the best solution for you. Contains elements from many versions of the game, while maintaining the original gameplay.
Mod retains original skills, quests and monsters, but adds some things from early game concept (for example using implants), original online game (pets, dye kits, events..), game from test servers (new weapons, rings, many types of monsters), korean Hellgate Global (bosses, weapons) and ideas of members the Hellgateaus community (expanded stash, better monsters info, cheats..).


Important ! All attachments on this forum is visible only if you are registered user and logged in.

Development of official Revival mod from Hellgateaus community it was completed by version 1.5b2.
Unofficial Revival mod (v1.6 and up) is extension of this mod - whole content of official revival is included,
lots of errors has been fixed and some things were added.

Mod can be installed through "Revival 1.5b1 launcher".
You need:
 - installed game client Hellgate London from original disc or iso image (supported languages is english and czech)
 - installed 1.2 SP and 2.0 MP (TCv4) patches (its necessary run both clients (SinglePlayer and MultiPlayer) once after installation of patches)
Unpack the launcher to any location, start "launcher.exe", go to utilities section and choose "modifications - install".
On select screen load "revival un 3.6 .mod.zip". Do not unpack mod before installation !
For more information take look on topic "The "new" launcher (for Revival 1.5 and up)" from Bryan or "Revival 1.5b2 SP Modification" from Malachor.

Installation of Revival mod automatically revert all before installed mods.

This patch is based on Revival version 3.5, all characters from foregoing versions is (theoretically) compatible, but is strongly recommended to backup your save games before instalation.
If you want load to this version character from version 1.9 or lower, then its necessary before installing remove all mythic and double edged items from character and all weapons from weapon slots to backpack.
After instalation you can return it back.



3.6 Patch Notes
---------------


- there are two new minibosses in the game:
   - Behemoth have 100% chance on spawn at Old Bailey. Behemoth replaced originally planned Dreadnaught (his 3D model do not work correctly in SP), so, both originally Dreadnaught's rings now have new name - Behemoth's rings. Skillful opal band ring (+ to all attributes) was renamed on Behemot's accursed circle. All three rings (or 5 nanoshards) now can be looted from Behemoth (100% on one from list). Behemoth no have original ai and skills, only random generated affixes.
   - Lilith have 100% chance on spawn at Paternoster Row. She can drop one from three completely new rings with her name or five nanoshards (100% on one from list). Lilith no have original ai and skills, only random generated affixes.

- there are one new maxiboss in the game  :D
   - If you want to prove that you are a great warrior, talk to Murmur, after you get end game reward from lord Arphaun. Murmur give you one new quest for killing Berial at Piccadilly circus. Quest is repeatable after relog to game. Monsters at Piccadilly circus now have everytime same level like a player. Berial ai has been redesigned and uses some other skill than in Hellgate Global. Berial can drop besides standart boss loot one of Tokyo's weapons (50% chance on kill, one from 36 uniques).

- What will happen if you mix in the cube four most unnecessary things in the game ?
   - New cube recipe: mix IOU note (Zomper, Necropolis), Cryptex (Rashaverak, Southwark bridge), Eye of Kurodon (Glutton Kurodon, West Smithfield) and Codex (Berial, Piccadilly Circus). You get new unique pet from Tokyo. Pet can fight a little for you, but mainly gives ultimate pet buff - increasing health, mana, health regeneration and mana regeneration, all at once.
   - The order of some recipes in cube has changed.

- lord Puppy now can drop one from the Tokyo swords, which i consider to be essentially a community item.  ;)


Mod is now much larger than before and can not be distributed via Hellgateaus site.

 - Most problems caused Behemoth, i hope everything will work. In his original Jaehan concept have Behemoth some like a crack on his back and light comes out of it.
In practice, the program for displaying this uses the same mechanism that is used to move lightwaves in Gleamcarvers. And this mechanism has a lot of problems in SP version..
 - the loot from Berial should be extended, but it may take some time  :)

awesome contents. had a test run for each of new bosses and might be a bit too easy to kill for lv. 55  character with end-game gears.  Compared to Kurodon, all 3 new bosses died too quickly without even using Multishot skill.

If you're planning to expand Berial loot, I think it's a good idea to move some of Rashaverk loots to Berial.  Rshaverk drops so many goodies, that's the only boss worth farming at end game. Maybe move 3 unique weapons? It makes sense because Hurricane was originally a Berial loot.

I'm including my lv. 55 Marksman save file for those who need some good end game items.
I've transferred some early game items from Condra(a revival user)'s mm character, such as +15 aa Sue's and etc, then I built up end game gears and weapons from unofficial patch series with good augs. Those are not hexed or altered with Reanimator, just straight up aug-and-rewrite labor. Imagine how many times I had to rewrite the save file with the backup to get +15 aa, +15%boost, +1 mm skill Maverick. Hope people can put them in to good use.  no artificially added skill/attribute point so equipping end game mods would be a challenge.

Behemoth and Lilith was designed like a "normal game through" minibosses, its not hard to kill them.
Berial is end game boss, but for good equiped hunter with two Hurricanes nohing can be a problem...  :D

His 3d model works and i think about putting it into operation, probably just as a miniboss, with random affixes.
But for now, i'm working on something else so i do not know when ...

Maybe i can tell, i'm working on conversion of skins from the original Hellgate Global "Red" set armor. So far all goes well, but it's work with "wardrobe" files, that i do not like...

I love those armours from global, well done. And some really impressive stuff in the link  :o It's a shame it all got shut down.

The only thing I can't work out is how to get grenades for recipes?

Fawkes grenades ?
While event all common vendors selling blueprints for grenades. And gunpowder, which is needed like ingredience for this recipes. Second ingredience is gourd.

I could do that.
But i'd rather have here pictures from players. For example when they get a new thing or kill new boss and they want to show it to others..
Of course, i rather programming than playing, my screenshots ere created while testing and often do not reflect the reality that will appear later in the game.
So, anyone have any nice pictures ? Show it here !   ;D
