Welcome to unofficial Revival patch version 2.4

Important ! All attachments on this forum is visible only if you are registered user and logged in.

Development of official Revival mod from Hellgateaus community it was completed by version 1.5b2.
Unofficial Revival mod (v1.6 - v2.4) is extension of this mod - whole content of official revival is included,
lots of errors has been fixed and some things were added.

Mod can be installed through "Revival 1.5b1 launcher".
You need:
 - installed game client Hellgate London from original disc or iso image (supported languages is english and czech)
 - installed 1.2 SP and 2.0 MP (TCv4) patches (its necessary run both clients (SinglePlayer and MultiPlayer) once after installation of patches)
Unpack the launcher to any location, start "launcher.exe", go to utilities section and choose "modifications - install".
On select screen load "revival un 2.3 .mod.zip". Do not unpack mod before installation !
For more information take look on topic "The "new" launcher (for Revival 1.5 and up)" from Bryan or "Revival 1.5b2 SP Modification" from Malachor.

Installation of Revival mod automatically revert all before installed mods.

This patch is based on Revival version 2.3, all characters from foregoing versions is
(theoretically) compatible, but is strongly recommended to backup your save games before instalation.
If you want load to this version character from version 1.9 or lower, then its necessary before installing remove all mythic and double edged items from character and all weapons from weapon slots to backpack.
After instalation you can return it back.



This update is basically betatest. All new items are highly experimental.
Are not exactly the same as in multiplayer, but i tried to make as much resemblance as possible.
Test them and post here your opinion.   :)

- Excessive spawn of some uniques (Convulsor, Static Coil, H666 Hell-fury) has been corrected.

- All unique mods (with rare tag, like "Rat monkey claw") now can be spawned at merchant.

- Droprate for unique and mythic items has been increased.

- Double edged items now have 20% chance on nanoshard when is dismantled (14% before).

- Missing souds while dismantling some items has been corrected.


--- New foci Ripshard, Bloodshard and Glypshard - unfortunatelly, all have one bug, which concerns only evokers.
All foci from original game is side symmetrical, so that they can be taken in both hands. These focuses is not symmetrical, while equip to left hand in multiplayer are mirrored by program. Single player does not allow this feature.
The solution would be to prohibit the use of these focuses in left hand, but in that case i would have to rank them as new "unittype", and this also causes that they stop working like a focus.
So, if you do not want to watch on evoker with both hands right, use this focus only in right hand and to left hand put some other type of focus.

I have some realy hard "missing String" Problems ... played Revival 1.2 to now and switcht to 2.3/2.4 today ... some of the new Items from MP say "missing String" like most Cube rezipes... any Solution? And sry for my bad english...

Ahhr,maybe the language Support can be solve the problem... i will try a full english Installation ...

My english maybe is Bad, but i know Helllgate and Global good enougth to play the game english ... i only overread this little Point on all install-instruktions 😂

And many People should be "sorry about anything" BUT NOT YOU!!! U offer so much time and work to bring us back the good Old and Awesome Hellgate. U give us all the years, while original Hellgate and Global die or go down, new content for Sp ... thats Awesome!

Haha, after a night of reinstalling and patching for english and Sp Revival , the First i do after start gaming, killing Wollah and his twinks ... cant stop loughing about that since houers ....

A little off topic,
There is still no way to edit/modify some Skills? I love to play all my chars ... only my fav from Global(Blademaster) make me sick after first Molly kill on lvl25 ... Summi/Marksman/Engi/Evo done him first lvl 11 ...

Modify currently used skills would probably not be a big problem.
Problem is "how ?" Each player has a different opinion, take a look at discussions on Hellgate 2038, for example.
What one would like, another would not like. Therefore i prefer to maintain the original state of skills.
It is, after all, a revival..   :)

Ah, thx for the advise to the thread ... didnt notice this Projekt to this time.... 👍 and btw... the problems on BM solved an he is my strongest now on lvl50  8)
