Player's shield is very weak : one-two hits (at Nightmare) is enough do totally  destroy the shield.
Is there any method to make a shield more tough? (something like 50% damage absorbtion)
The second question is about shield regeneration rate. How to make it faster? How to change time after the last hit, after shield starts regeneration?

P.S. My modding work is 90% completed, so I will release it soon :)

I doubt that shields can be modified in the way that they work, so no making them tougher.
You could try changing shield_buffer_regen in props1 of Players. I've never tested it, so I don't know if higher or lower is better.
I can't think of anything else you could try.
Maybe look at shield_buffer_max in Stats, it has regenDivisor of 40, and regenDelayOnDec of 80. Whatever those actually mean.

First thing, I did - changed shield_buffer_regen in props1 of Players. This did not work.
Your method works perfect: shield_buffer_max in Stats. regenDivisor of 40 - as less this number, as fast it regenerates. regenDelayOnDec of 80 - as less number, as fast the shield starts regeneration (after the last hit)
Totally not too much for the shields, but it's better, than nothing.
