I'm starting to love SP more and more seeing all the great additions you guys are providing :) It's fantastic to see that you're even able to add the mythic items that never made it on the live servers... Are you also planning on adding the turquoise double-edged items?

Keep the great work up! Hope to hear from this patch soon

EDIT: I know it's pure eye candy but just to satisfy my curiosity as a future programmer: You know this yellow/orange glow around unique/legendary items when they drop and lie on the ground? It kinda looks like a small colored whirlwind placed above the item to draw your attention to it. In patch 2.0 (was it 2.0? Well the last MP patch that never made it to the live servers) they also added these visual effects to other items (greens, blues, purples and turquoises) and that looked really cool (especially with the two new colors). I just wanted to know if there is any way to add this feature to the other colored items as well?

This is not exactly a request to add this or anything (ok, to be honest... I'd really like to see this xD), more a question of:
- how much of the original code can you modify?
- where are the limits to additions?

one question:
are all of weapons scaled or its about only ranged weapons... I don't want odachis and dragon blades to be shorter :( .
and if they are will there be a possibility not to add that change to the game :?:  :D
o... thats two questions :D

Nearly sprayed my coffee imagining all these blademasters and guardians suddenly being equipped with nothing longer than a small dagger....

Yep it was the last or second to last TC patch and it also included the amazing new fire effects for splash weapons. Loved the new effects from that patch.

That was a good question BotmasteR, only the ranged weapons are smaller. First post updated.

Nice work to all Revival Team members

One question , Does this  support Asia patch 1.2 ?
We will make sure it does :) Is it possible at all to provide a link to the Asian version of the 1.2 patch you are using?

They're not mythic, they're mutant, sp doesn't have mythic. And nor is there double-edged.

Ah ok... The colour of the item reminded me of the MP mythics so I thought you just used your own naming scheme to make them sound more special. Guess I was wrong :) Now that you mention it I remember some forum post where a player showed off some purple items in SP a few month after HGL was released. Doesn't seem to be a total fake post now.

It does appear originally mutant items (the ones that drop from Bosses) were going to be purple, but were never implemented properly in SP. The decision to take the colour purple and attach it to Mythic items seems to have been made down later after they launched. A lot can be read into from the way the game fils are designed and have changed, like dinosaur bones :P

lol... roaming around inside Hellgate's intestines sounds like a lot of fun :D Maybe I'll try that too... 6 more weeks till the next semester starts and I have nothing to do anyway xD

As I understand those mutant items, you're basically "just recoloring" some of the existing items (the ones that are only dropped by bosses) to purple? No additional extra benefits or special abilities? Does this only apply to legendary items like the Shulgoth Sword and "Breather of Shulgoth" or also to uniques like "Sydonais Thorax"? Same drop rates as always?

Well you don't have to answer right now (ok... not like I can force you to answer anyway xD), but it would be nice if the final patch notes would contain some more info about this :)

We have also beefed up the stats on Mutant items :) Same drop rates, luck wouldn't really help I don't imagine. However, if you really want to you can make a backup of your and restore it if Shulgoth drops crap, I think I said somewhere else earlier that the first time you kill a boss, the chance you will get a mutant item is high. I estimate it is about 1/5. :)

Yeah... The first boss drop is usually the best... I farmed Shulgoth a few hundred times and got the impression that if his very first drop isn't any of his "own" weapons then you won't be able to get them at this difficulty level any more... So... can any weapon/armor dropped by him be a mutant item or only those weapons with the bosses name on them? (I usually don't use those boss named weapons but if you beefed up the stats I might consider switching my gear) If its the later, it might be really tricky to get them (except you use the backup method you mentioned or you manage to change the drop behaviour...) xD
