Greetings,

thanks for all the work you've put into creating the Patch/Mods!

The patch wont install if you've renamed the file "hellgate_movieslow000.dat" to "hellgate_movieslow000.dat_" to force Hellgate to use the "hellgate_movieshigh000.dat" for high resolution Movies on Computers where the autodetect doesnt work correctly.

Same to the "hellgate_movieslow000.idx" which changes after you've renamed the "hellgate_movieslow000.dat".

Luckily that files is accessible on the DVD directly. Else just a new install could have repaired the .idx .

That's because the installer is expecting the correctly named files.
All you have to do to fix this, is rename them back to the original name, install, then re-rename them to whatever you want their name to be.

Not completly because after renaming the .idx is changed by HG:L by itself.

So after deinstalling the mod you can't reinstall the mod (even with correct named files) because the .idx isnt as the installer expects.

Right now i dont rename them at all because of the hassle, and its just a very minor thing, but perhaps something to look into if theres some time left (dont think you can directly repair it in a way that HG:L takes the movieshigh?)

That's because hgl creates the missing(renamed) hellgate_movieslow000.idx.
When you rename hellgate_movieslow000.idx to hellgate_movieslow000_.idx, and then run the game, it creates hellgate_movieslow000.idx, except it's only a few bytes in size(24, or 32 from memory). So you delete that smaller file, and then rename hellgate_movieslow000_.idx, back to hellgate_movieslow000.idx, and then run the installer. Then rename hellgate_movieslow000.idx to hellgate_movieslow000_.idx.
