Did you run the MP exe once the MP patch installed?

Hmm this is quite odd, the saving problem seems to occur only when trying to save clean monsters.txt.cooked with new reanimator, as i had to use one of the earliest versions of reanimator to mod and save clean monsters.txt.cooked. Hmm trying to reinstall my reanimator and all the files, i have messed with so many files so its not a suprise that problems occured.

Hi, it's me again with the same issue : trading tool.

I just checked it today and i got the same error again, see BotmasteR's post.
Then i closed HGL (it was at the main menu), tried to open the trading tool and it did it.
I did the exchange, checked it in HGL then checked the trading tool (Reanimator stayed open all the time), that loaded with no problem at all and i could do trading as much as i wanted.

I noticed that the trading tool loads automatically now the first character or it did that most of the time.

I'll have a look at the trading probles as soon as I have some more time to spare. I'll be pretty busy with university stuff for the next 2 weeks though...

Yes, I added a kind of item preview which will directly load a character savegame as soon as you select a character. While this will increase the loading times a bit you can now directly see which items a character is offering for trade. The "load" button is more or less useless now :P

after some time of "working" on my installation I think I got some progress on that problem.

I noticed that reanimator won't load all required files if there's any mod installed on top of the original game (1.2 patch), so I have to restore restore original .idx files every time before I run reanimator.

I extracted all files needed for item trading in a correct place, keeping the directory structure as it is.

launched reanimator -->> item trading.

it loads first char listed and shows items in its cube perfectly, some other chars load too, but on some chars I get the error again and this time its saying Input string was not in a correct format.
this is a complete text from that error.

Can you send me the savegames Reanimator is crashing on loading? The hg1 file is enough, I don't need the "map" folder. I'll check them to see if there's anything special about them. The only time I can imagine the savegame loading to fail is when loading a character that has items in his inventory that are no longer in the tables (e.g. you installed another mod, got a newly added item, but uninstalled that mod later on so the item is removed from the table)...

My other guess would be that this Reanimator version probably  isn't using the up-to-date item trading functions...

kk ^^ I got the characters in question and they worked fine for me... So until I have some more time to look into this (in about 2 weeks) I can only guess where the real problem lies...

Yeap, finaly confirmed this. I cant save  Monsters.txt.cooked at all,clean or modded, when ever i modificate it and try to save it, my reanimator crashes. I have tryed to solve this "slight" problem with many ways(reinstalling Reanimator,Clearing The Rexistry,Using different Directory), but nothing seem to work. Any ideas why this has happened?

That's a known bug of this Reanimator version which is already fixed in our internal builds. Either try an older Reanimator version or wait for the next release...

There are some pretty serious threading and memory issues with Reanimator at the moment.. it may be a while before we can address the issues

Just a notice here otherwise i may forget it for later :

It seems HGL can not be quit without an fault notice from Windows. Each time i quit HGL, in taskmanager i got "WerFault.exe" (Windows Problem reporting) up and HGL process hangs on for about 1 min.
In meanwhile, Reanimator 1.1.0 beta 3 can't run properly the trading tool :

But once "WerFault.exe" then the HGL process have been terminated by themselves or by hitting the "End Process" for both of them, Reanimator/trading tool work fine again.

The above notice was for Reanimator 1.1.0 beta 3 and/with Revival 1.5a beta. I didn't notice this before or didn't pay attention to it before.

- Windows 7 x64 - HGL installed in another HD instead of "c:Program Files" or "c:Program Files (x86)" -

This faulty system seems to be "ntdll.dll" in "C:windowssystem32" with "HGL_SP_DxY_x64.exe"
I did a "sfc /scannow", the outcome said my system was good.
I replaced "ntdll.dll" with ownership taken over the system folders.

The error is still there.
I wonder if the called "ntdll.dll" is the good one because we have another "ntdll.dll" but under "c:windowssysWOW64".

Not a big deal when you know it. Need to kill the "werfault.exe" process.
